For the workshop portion of the town hall meeting, the larger group divided into seven tables, each table was assigned a category of potential uses to discuss. Each group then presented to the larger group, and there was an opportunity for the larger group to make suggestions. Below are the ideas that each group recorded and presented, along with any additions suggested by the entire meeting.

After the potential uses were discussed, the group considered the development criteria which should be considered for the project.

The project will now go back to the committee which will begin to consider the workshop results, and begin the task of assessing the structure with respect to development.  It should be noted that there are many regulations and restrictions regarding the development of the property, so while there may be ideas for development that seem great on the surface, regulations such as providing accessibility, may make them impossible to achieve. The idea in brainstorming was to gather as many ideas as possible - and not to judge the ideas.  The committee will asses the possible uses to try to find a compatible use.

Landscaping appropriate to historic property.

Include non-intrusive modern facilities e.g. toilet rooms, cooking facilities, heat, air electrical.

Refrain from encroaching on historic site with any additions.

Usage must be compatible with "two room" pioneer structure.

Leave original house & preserve it.

Acquire use of parking/ adjacent property
