Acosta - Taylor House (also known as the Durst Taylor House)
Nacogdoches, Texas

The Acosta - Taylor House is a historic property dating from the early 1800's. Michael Gaertner & Associates has been assisting the City of Nacogdoches in the process of undertaking a "Community Initiated Development". A workshop was conducted during a Town Hall meeting at Liberty Hall in Nacogdoches on December 6, 2000. Michael Gaertner presented a brief slide show, giving an overview of the Community Initiated Development process.  The participants worked on brainstorming an appropriate use for the property and establishing what the criteria will be for development of the property.
